Schools

The Episcopal school system has 17 schools, educating over 4000 students.
Colegio Kids is currently working with Colegio San Esteban and Centro Buen
Pastor. Both are located in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic.
Colegio San Esteban is a K-12 school operated by the Dominican Diocese.
Founded in 1922, it is the oldest school in the system. Both the school
and Clinica Esperanza y Caridad are associated with Iglesia San Esteban,
the first Episcopal church to be opened in the republic. If you are using dialup

San Esteban (2) for a quicker load with fewer graphics.
Centro Buen Pastor, quite near to San Esteban, is located in a very poor
barrio (neighborhood) called Las Flores. Buen Pastor is operated by the Sisters
of the Transfiguration, headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to the
K-3 school, Buen Pastor offers a clinic, chapel, day care and other services to
the local residents.
