    Letter mail is delivered by courier to the DR at no extra charge. Packages must be accompanied by a letter containing a check for extra charges at $2.00 per pound. This is faster and more reliable than using an address in the DR. Generally around 2 weeks for mail delivery. Use E-Mail where possible.

Calls to the DR are 50 to 85 cents per minute if you just dial them. It is better to buy a prepaid calling card. They are available at as little as 11 cents per minute and as small as $10.00. Sam's has a good price on the ATT card. Prepaid cards may be purchased online at www.enjoyprepaid.com. This is convenient, reliable and inexpensive (11 cents).

Send Mail to your Student

Put your letter in an inner envelope and mark that envelope with the student's name and school. Put the inner envelope in an outer envelope and address it to the address above for Bob and Ellen Snow. Note the fees for packages, no additional cost for letters. Allow 2-3 weeks for arrival.
